  hi...wasn't really sure what subheading to post this in.

  ... ....but just wondering .. have any of the specials bethelites etc from ireland been axed now that the uk branch has control.

  ..and what about the poor sods who sold up hearth snd home and joined the temple farm project have they been kept on......

  .just plucking up the courage to introduce myself....living in ireland but from the uk originally.

  ..drifted away due to depression (from all things truth related lol and bereavements and my m.s husband cheating on me and leaving !!

  ) few years ago but they recently hunted me down (they contacted me the day my other half was diagnosed with cancer!

  Hi everyone. ...I've had a tough week but starting to let my rational head take control again lol....

  Like serously what the Hell!

  My mothrr and child want me to miss them and return to Jehovah. ...hmmm straight away I think of the script of jehovah asking people to serve him willingly and not under compulsion. ...with a whole heart. ...duh do they even read the scriptures themselves?

  And my mothrr refusing to see me except under what she deems necessary buisness. .I.E when she is sick and needs a slave. ...

  Where is HER Christian love

  And if I'm suffering because of any of this ..well of course because I'M REAPING WHAT I SOWED apparently. ...

  U gotta laugh. ...n maybe write a book or eat a mince pie or something. ..might even buy some xmas decorations.....

  Basic Principles for Forum Moderation

  a perennial issue for any online forum is moderation and applying rules.

  we have a set of community guidelines and posting guidelines that are intended to make clear what is and isn't acceptable but this tends to focus on the obvious standards of behavior for, well, obvious reasons.

  it's easy to talk about people being aggressive or insulting etc... as those are common and clearly unwanted behaviors and the typical issue for online communities - the most likely things to come up.. does this mean that everything *not* on the list is allowed?

  I think it's a great site...too good I'm addicted lol ...Can't believe how much I'm learning from it...now if someone could just explain some of the terms and abbreviations used I'd be feeling less stupid tho lol

  What was your ''the last straw that broke the camels back'' moment

  there is a limit to how much straw (long yellow grass) a camel can carry on its back.

  if you keep putting more straw on top, it will finally break the camel's back.

  when you are at the last straw you are finally angry and will not take any more.. my moment (to stop attending all watchtower meetings) was after the harsh treatment from the elders and fellow congregation members of my second cousin who was disfellowhipped as a teenager.

  Yep been at family funerals same thing happened. .brothers pointing and telling others not to speak to family member because they were df...sicko s ...also covering over of abuse because it was just one persons word... even tho more than one person accused the same person. ...watching the accused get away with it for decades. ..and still is....that's just the tip of the ice berg

  Hubby traded me in after 15 years I believe she was 21 but she dumped him because she decided he was too old.....karma
